We are Carlo and Gloria
This project began far from Puglia, in Milan.
For years, our life was fast, structured, and always moving between work, traffic, and tight schedules. Travel was our escape, but it often felt rushed, planned around calendars rather than curiosity.
Everything changed the first time we reached the south of Puglia.
We arrived in Ugento almost by accident, at the end of a longer trip. What we found there was different from anything we knew: long quiet beaches, slower rhythms, simple routines, and a sense of space that Milan had slowly taken away from us. Days felt longer. Conversations felt more real. Time, somehow, felt ours again.
We kept coming back.
At some point, returning was no longer enough.
We made the decision to move, choosing Ugento as our base. Not because it is famous, but exactly because it is not. It allowed us to stay close to the sea, to nature, and to a more authentic version of Puglia.
Why we created this project
This website was born from a simple idea: helping others discover the Puglia we fell in love with.
Not just the postcard version, but the real one.
What makes this project different
We do not chase trends or crowded itineraries.
We focus on:
Slower travel
Lesser-known places
Real experiences
Practical and honest advice
Puglia has many layers, and some of its most beautiful ones are not the easiest to find. Our goal is to help you access them, without filters and without rushing.
This is not just a travel guide.
It is an invitation to discover Puglia with different eyes.
